KMAP BULLETIN: Revisions to January 2022 NCCI PTP Editing

Effective with processing date February 18, 2022, and retroactive to January 1, 2022, CMS revised National Correct Coding Initiative (NCCI) Procedure-to-Procedure (PTP) Practitioner (PRA) and NCCI PTP Outpatient Hospital (OPH) files related to the first quarter 2022 NCCI updates. CMS issued replacement PTP files (outpatient and professional) for the first quarter of 2022. Reference the NCCI page on the Medicaid website for additional information. Impacted claims will be identified and reprocessed.

The implementation of State policy by the KanCare Managed Care Organizations (MCOs) may vary from the date noted in the Kansas Medical Assistance Program (KMAP) bulletins.
