KMAP BULLETIN: KDHE to Hold KanCare Re-Procurement Public Meetings

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment, the Division of Health Care Finance (KDHE-DHCF) will hold virtual information sessions to provide an update on the development of the request for proposal (RFP) for the re-procurement of the 2025 KanCare Managed Care Organizations’ (MCOs’) contracts. The RFP is scheduled for publication in October 2023. KDHE will enter new contracts with MCOs in January 2025.

Previous public meetings were held in April 2023 to collect input from stakeholders. KDHE will provide an update on how this input has been used to create the RFP, including any new requirements added.

KDHE invites KanCare providers and advocates to attend one of the information sessions below. State staff will be in attendance to provide you with updates and information about KanCare. There will be an opportunity to ask questions about how your input was used to create the RFP. This will be the only topic covered in each session.
