KMAP BULLETIN: Coverage of Code 97760

Effective retroactively to dates of service on or after January 1, 2025, procedure code 97760 will be allowable when billed by providers operating within their scope of practice. This code was inadvertently removed during a recent policy implementation; however, coverage has now been reinstated.

Procedure code 97760 will continue to be reimbursed at the current Medicaid rate of $23.83. No action is required from providers. Any impacted claims will be reprocessed to ensure correct reimbursement.
