Members Empowered to Succeed (METS) Provider Trainings Available

METS takes a unique approach to member care. We partner with the provider and member to ensure that the member achieves the ultimate level of recovery and resiliency. Our clinical liaisons work directly with providers to identify the member’s treatment and supports needed for successful progress in treatment.
To support our providers, Sunflower Health Plan now has free, online trainings on the following topics:
- Treatment Planning for Mental Health Diagnoses
- Tools for Evaluating Progress Throughout the Treatment Episode
- Substance Use Disorders and Mental Health Comorbidities
- Engaging the Family in Behavioral Health Treatment
- Substance Use Disorder and Physical Health Comorbidities
- Adolescents Transitioning to Adulthood
These microlearnings, available through Centene Advanced Behavioral Health, cover evidence-based practices to help providers identify skills and techniques for engaging with members, the relationship between substance use disorder and mental health, and tools and processes to screen and evaluate members for substance use disorder or co-occuring mental health disorders. The intent of the trainings is to share strategies that will help impact quality care and outcomes for our members.
The 10-minute trainings are available on demand and can be taken at your convenience.
