NEW: Chat with Sunflower in Availity Essentials

Providers now can chat with Sunflower’s Customer Service Advocates in Availity Essentials.
Sunflower’s Provider Chat went live in Availity Essentials on February 27, 2025. Provider Chat can be accessed from the Payer Spaces - Applications tab. When users click Provider Chat, select Sunflower Health Plan and Submit, they are taken to a third-party site.
Customer Service Advocates can assist providers through Chat with the following inquiries:
- Claims
- Benefits
- Eligibility
- Authorizations
- For other topics, providers should contact Customer Service for assistance

- Find Help launches the Availity Provider Help Center. Search for Payer Spaces.
- Get Trained launches the Availity Learning Center (ALC). Search for Payer Spaces.
Chat Availability Hours
Providers can chat with Customer Service Advocates Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM Central. This feature is only available for registered users in Availity Essentials. See our October 2024 bulletin to sign up for Availity Essentials.
