KMAP GENERAL BULLETIN 23186 (PDF)
The State of Kansas announces Fiserv’s AuthentiCare as the chosen solution for the State’s Electronic Visit Verification (EVV). The State has selected a provider’s choice model, meaning provider agencies may choose to use AuthentiCare as their EVV system or choose a third-party EVV application approved by the State of Kansas.
Effective December 3, 2023, the requirement for EVV transactions, currently used for home and community-based services (HCBS), will be extended to include home health care services (HHCS) for home health visits.
The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) and the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services (KDADS) will host a virtual town hall meeting regarding EVV on July 12, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. This meeting will provide an overview of EVV and an opportunity to ask questions about EVV.
