SHPBN-2019-035 KDADS Final Rule Assessment

The Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services (KDADS) Final Rule Assessment is now available.

All entities who provide Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) “Day and Residential Services” must complete the assessment to continue to render HCBS in the future. This includes entities providing HCBS in a foster care, adult day care or assisted living setting.

Foster care agencies must complete a site-specific assessment for each child receiving HCBS services in a foster care setting. And assisted living and adult day care agencies must also complete site specific assessments where HCBS services are provided.
