HCBS Transfer of Authorizations into AuthentiCare

This information is for Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) providers who use AuthentiCare.
Sunflower is working with Fiserv on the new direct-file transfer of authorizations into the AuthentiCare EVV system. Sunflower was the initial MCO to implement and test the new system. As we work through issues, providers may see a delay in authorizations showing in AuthentiCare. We encourage providers to check Sunflower’s provider portal for the status of an authorization and to view the member’s Person Centered Service Plan.
Authorizations
Please note: Sunflower’s provider portal authorizations are refreshed every 24 hours.

Person Centered Service Plan
From the authorization screen, select the member and you will be redirected to the member eligibility screen, or do a member eligibility look-up. From the eligibility screen, select and review specific assessments available for that member.
