Don’t risk losing your Medicaid benefits.

Renewing your Medicaid eligibility is as easy as 1, 2, 3.

  1. You should receive a letter from KanCare a few months before your Medicaid review month, explaining how to verify your Medicaid eligibility.
  2. Follow the directions in the letter to renew your eligibility. If the letter has a due date, be sure to respond in time. If you don’t receive your letter or have questions about your eligibility, contact the KanCare Clearinghouse at 800-792-4884.
  3. If you are eligible for Medicaid, you can continue your coverage or choose another plan. If you are no longer eligible for Medicaid, you can explore our Marketplace and Medicare options.

Why is this important?

If you don't renew your Medicaid eligibility on time, you may lose your Medicaid benefits.
