Virtual Visits with your Provider
Telehealth lets Sunflower members see a provider by video or phone. You can talk about symptoms, get medical advice, receive a diagnosis, and sometimes get a prescription—without leaving home. If you’d like, a family member, caregiver or friend can join the visit with you.
What are the Benefits?

- You don’t have to miss work or school.
How Does the Appointment Work?
A telehealth visit is like a regular appointment, but you meet with your provider from home. All you need is:
- A computer, webcam and internet, or
- A smartphone or tablet (mobile device)
Telehealth Visit Examples
Colds, flu, wheezing or asthma
Diabetes care and check-ins
Preventive care and wellness visits
Skin problems, like rashes
Ongoing care for long-term health conditions
Mental health, emotional well-being support
When Telehealth Isn’t The Right Service
Do not use telehealth if you need an in-person exam or hands-on care. If you think you have a medical emergency, go to the nearest Emergency Room (ER) or call 911.
